Draft Fundamental Human Rights Principles for Business Enterprises, Addendum 1, U.N. Doc. E/CN.4/Sub.2/2002/X/Add.1, E/CN.4/Sub.2/2002/WG.2/WP.1/Add.1 (Draft for Discussion November 2001).

Dr Weissbrodt would be most grateful for further comments or suggestions by January 1, 2002.

In early January 2002 he hopes to transmit a newly revised draft to my four colleagues on the U.N. Working Group on the Working Methods and Activities of Transnational Corporations for further consultations in February and the preparation of a more authoritative draft in May 2002.

Eventually the draft will be discussed at the public session of the Working Group which is presently expected to occur 30-31 July 2002 in Geneva, Switzerland, and which people are encouraged to attend.
